Sustainability in the Community

Here at the Gentlemen Baristas, we are wholeheartedly passionate about reducing the impact of everything we do. We always strive to be a better version of ourselves, with the ultimate goal of driving a sustainable coffee culture through action, not just words.

ELECTRIC VANS & Bikes

As we aim to become a zero-waste coffee company, we now deliver all our coffee across London in a zero-emission, 100% electric van.

We even deliver our smaller orders and sandwiches using our rather wonderful electric bike. No, it’s not a penny-farthing.

COFFEE WASTE

Any coffee waste we create is now being transformed into biofuel and coffee logs. We’re also looking at how our coffee grounds can be used to grow mushrooms. We even give our coffee sacks to allotment associations and customers to grow their spuds or tomatoes in.

PACKAGING

We make a relentless effort to ensure our well-mannered coffee packaging is recyclable and can be disposed of responsibly. We’ve moved over to using LDPE - a recyclable and reusable alternative to traditional plastic.

Always ones that promote sustainability, help to protect the natural environment or do a good turn for the people we lovingly craft our award-winning brews for.
